Mathew Wilson

About:

Mathew Wilson is a young photographer in Toronto Ontario. He graduated from Humber College in the Creative Photography Program. He started his career in fashion photography with the help of another fashion photographer named Josh Cornell. He assisted Josh for a school intern placement program and when he assisted Josh Mathew developed a love for fashion photography. At the end of the term and finally graduated Mathew placed a portfolio together of the work he did through College to show agencies in Toronto what he can do. It might not have been his strongest work, but with the help of Matti Gidilevich and Allison MacGillivray from Elite and Ryan Greenwood from Elmer Olsen have helped him to get his portfolio stronger and now published in W25 Magazine, and Pie Magazine. Mathew has assisted many other great fashion photographers such as Mackenzie Duncan, who I appeared on Fashion Television with. He also has won an award for his outstanding achievements from Humber College. At the young age of 20 and at the start of his career he has made an impact in the fashion industry. We will be seeing many more great and outstanding work from him as the year progresses. He will continue to pursue the fashion industry and will work hard at opportunities that come his way.
